Allspice or Jamaica Pepper is the dried unripe berry of Pimenta dioica. By origin, they belong to West Indies and Central America but now are cultivated in many warm parts of the world including India. The flavor of the dried berry resembles a combination of Clove, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon and hence the name.
